CBS Renews Much Of Its Series Slate

CBS has handed out early renewals for much of its programming slate with fifteen scripted series and one reality show all scoring pick ups.

Set to return in the Fall are veteran dramas “Blue Bloods,” “Hawaii Five-0,” “Madam Secretary,” “NCIS: Los Angeles,” “NCIS: New Orleans” and “Scorpion” along with comedies “Life in Pieces” and “Mom” and reality series “Survivor”.

First-year series “Bull”,” Kevin Can Wait,” “MacGyver,” “Man With a Plan” and “Superior Donuts” are also coming back and join previously renewed series “NCIS” and “Big Bang Theory”.

That leaves only a number of series on the bubble – “Criminal Minds,” “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders,” “Code Black,” “Elementary,” “2 Broke Girls,” and “The Odd Couple”. Others unlikely to return include “Doubt,” “Pure Genius,” “Training Day” and “The Great Indoors”.
