Following yesterday’s announcement of HBO offering a streaming service to non-cable subscribers in 2015, CBS has announced they will launch a very similar style service called CBS All Access.
Users will get access to over 6,500 episodes from the current season, previous seasons and classic shows on demand. New episodes of the network’s shows will appear on the app the next day.
There’s also the ability to stream local CBS Television stations live in 14 of the largest U.S. markets at launch.
Costing $5.99 per month, the service is available beginning today at CBS.com and on mobile devices through the CBS App for iOS and Android. Other devices will score the service in coming months.
