The Long Night
Bruce Willis is set to star in Matt Eskandari’s action thriller “The Long Night” at Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films. Filming begins June 3rd in Columbus, Georgia.
Doug Wolfe penned the script in which two ruthless criminals break into a disgraced doctor’s home to be given medical attention after one of them is shot during a robbery gone awry. Knowing that he lacks the expertise to patch up the injured trespasser, the doctor must protect his family at all costs. [Source: Deadline]
Juliette Binoche is set to star in Ethan Hawke’s movie adaptation of Tennessee Williams’ 1953 stage play “Camino Real” at Passage Pictures. Hawke adapted the play with writer-composer Shelby Gaines and shooting kicks off in Rio De Janeiro in 2020.
Hawke helms this screen version which depicts a surreal isolated town in a tropical climate where the characters live a sensual, dream-like narrative of love and burlesque dancing. [Source: THR]

“Game of Thrones” star Emilia Clarke will play poet Elizabeth Barrett in “The Wife” director Bjorn Runge’s “Let Me Count the Ways” at of DJ Films and Bankside Films. Paula Milne penned the script for the true story tale following the love affair between famed but reclusive poet Barrett and the young and impulsive playwright Robert Browning in the mid-19th century. Scout Taylor-Compton (2007’s “Halloween”) will star in Harley Wallen’s thriller “Ash and Bone” which Bret Miller and Mel Novak penned. Taylor-Compton plays a local young woman who gets sucked into a bit of a dare to check out the infamous McKinley family.
Angelina Danielle Cama plays a rebellious teen whose wild streak escalates as her caring father Lucas decides to take her and his new wife out of the city for some bonding and quality time together. After she crosses the McKinleys, it becomes clear that danger lies hidden in the weeds, ready to strike at any moment. Filming begins later this month in Michigan. [Source: Deadline]
