Djimon Hounsou (“Amistad,” “Guardians of the Galax”) is set to join Alexander Skarsgard and Margot Robbie in the David Yates-directed action adventure “Tarzan” for Warner Bros. Pictures.

Christian Slater will join James Franco in the Pamela Romanowsky-directed “Adderall Diaries” which will soon shoot in New York City.

Franco plays a troubled, drug-addicted writer who becomes fascinated by a big murder trial. Slater will play the man on trial for the murder of his ex-wife. [Source: Deadline]

Tulip Fever
Judi Dench, Matthew Morrison, Cara Delevingne and Cressida Bonas have joined the cast of Justin Chadwick’s drama “Tulip Fever” alongside Alicia Vikander, Dane DeHaan, Jack O’Connell, Holliday Grainger, Christoph Waltz and Zach Galifianakis .

Set in 17th century Amsterdam, the story follows a married woman who begins a passionate affair with an artist hired to paint her portrait. Dench will play the Abbess of St. Ursula, Morrison a drunken bohemian artist and Delevingne his model. [Source: THR]

The Divergent Series: Insurgent
Daniel Dae Kim (“Lost”) has joined the cast of Summit’s upcoming sequel “The Divergent Series: Insurgent” alongside Shailene Woodley and Theo James.

Kim will play Jack Kang, a Candor representative who briefly houses members of the Dauntless faction not allied with the Erudite. [Source: Variety]
