CSI: Miami actor Rex Linn has joined the cast of Seth MacFarlane’s Western comedy, “A Million Ways to Die in the West,” which is currently shooting in New Mexico. Linn will play a small-town sheriff.
MacFarlane plays sheep farmer who loses his woman after chickening out on a gun duel. He meets a another woman who teaches him how to handle a gun and be more confident. [Source: THR]
FX is going big on comedies as Tracy Morgan has closed a deal to star in their single camera comedy pilot “Death Pact,” while Judy Greer is joining the network’s untitled Andrew Gurland comedy pilot.
‘Pact’ has Morgan as a former high school coach who runs across three former students and sucks them into his new, radical self-help philosophy.
