Freddie Stroma (“Harry Potter,” “Pitch Perfect”) has joined the cast of Michael Bay’s “13 Hours” about the assault on the U.S. compound in Benghazi.

Stroma will play a brash Yale grad who is an undercover CIA agent in Libya. John Krasinski, James Badge Dale, Max Martini and Pablo Schreiber also star in the project which begins filming next month in Malta and Morocco. [Source: Deadline]

The Day Will Come
Danish actors Lars Mikkelsen and Sofie Grabol will star in Jesper W Nielsen’s $4.4 million-budgeted “The Day Will Come” which begins a nine week shoot shortly in Denmark. The pair previously starred together in the first season of “The Killing” in 2007.

Set in 1967, the story centers on two young brothers (Harald Kaiser Hermann, Albert Rudbeck Lindhardt) who are instantly robbed of their lives when they are placed in a boy’s home forgotten by time. Armed only with a vivid imagination and a fickle hope, the boys engage in a frightening battle against the evil headmaster and his lethal tyranny. [Source: Screen]

Kill Kane
Vinnie Jones has scored the lead role in the British crime thriller “Kill Kane”. Filming is due to start in April. Adam Stephen Kelly is set to direct from a script he co-wrote with Christian Sellers and Andrew Jones.

Jones would play a family man driven to revenge following the murder of his family. Sean Cronin, Nicole Faraday and Sarah Alexandra Marks also star. [Source: Screen]

Robbie Kay (“Once Upon a Time”) has joined the cast of NBC’s event series “Heroes Reborn” The thirteen-episode mini-series will reconnect with the basic elements of the show’s first season. Kay will play a new character not seen before. [Source: TV Line]

Chris Coy (“Treme,” “Deliver Us From Evil”) has joined the cast of “Banshee” as a new regular on Cinemax’s upcoming fourth season of the drama. Coy will reprise the role he originated in a guest starring stint on the current third season as Calvin, brother to Kurt Bunker (Tom Pelphrey) who hides his true feelings behind a mild exterior. Rio Heat
Harvey Keitel has joined the cast of “24” producer Jon Cassar’s action/comedy series “Rio Heat” alongside Victor Webster. Cassar will executive produce and direct multiple episodes of the series.

Keitel will play Hubert Humbolt, a mysterious figure and ex-CIA operator who now owns the largest private investigation company in the world. He opens his Rio branch as well as continuing to do contract work for his government cronies. [Source: Deadline]
