Emma Stone is set to star in an untitled love story project at Sony Pictures which begins filming in the Spring.

Cameron Crowe penned the script and will direct while Scott Rudin is producing. Story details are unknown but the tone is said to be akin to Crowe’s “Almost Famous” and “Jerry Maguire”. [Source: Deadline]

The Counselor & Kick Ass 2
John Leguizamo has just signed for roles in both Ridley Scott’s “The Counselor” and the upcoming “Kick-Ass” sequel.

In ‘Counselor’ he’ll play a low level drug dealer, while in Kick-Ass he plays the bodyguard assigned to protect aspiring evil guy Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). [Source: Deadline]

Tween star Jake T. Austin (“Wizards of Waverly Place”) has landed the lead role in Kristin Hanggi’s indie feature “Grantham and Rose” which begins filming next month in Georgia.

Austin plays a young man struggling to find his way as an adult in New York City. A petty crime thrusts him into the company of a feisty 81-year-old African American woman, who teaches him about life and love. [Source: Variety]

The Internship
“The Daily Show” correspondent Aasif Mandvi is joining Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson in the comedy “The Internship” about two guys who try to reinvent their dead-end careers.

Mandvi will play Mr. Chetty, the tough head of the internship program Vaughn and Wilson’s characters enlist in. [Source: Deadline]
