Emma Stone (“The Amazing Spider-Man 2”) will join Joaquin Phoenix in Woody Allen’s next film. Plot details are unknown, but sources say the film would likely shoot this July.

This would mark Stone’s second film will Allen following “Magic in the Moonlight” which opens this Summer. [Source: Variety]

My All American
Aaron Eckhart (“Olympus Has Fallen”) and Finn Wittrock (“Noah”) have joined the cast of Angelo Pizzo’s “My All American”. Eckhart will play University of Texas football coach Darrell Royal, Wittrock will play UT football great Freddie Steinmark. Filming begins next month in Austin, Texas.

Royal developed a special bond with Steinmark, a promising player whose career was cut shot by a cancerous tumor that took his leg. Steinmark coached the team’s freshman defense and became an inspiration to cancer sufferers before the cancer took his life. [Source: Deadline]

Jurassic World
Andy Buckley (“The Office”) has joined the cast of Colin Trevorrow’s “Jurassic World” which is currently filming in Hawaii. Chris Pratt, Jake Johnson, Judy Greer, Ty Simpkins, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, B.D. Wong and Omar Sy also star.

The story reportedly centers on a working theme park on Isla Nublar that features live dinosaurs, some of which have never been seen before. [Source: ]

Hot Air
Jere Burns (“Justified”), Matthew Gray Gubler (“Criminal Minds”) and musician-actress Schuyler Fisk will star in Derek Sieg’s indie comedy “Hot Air”. Filming begins mid-May in Austin, Texas.

The story centers around a burned out lothario (Burns) who fakes his own death in order to escape a life sentence in jail, only to meet the son he never knew he had (Gubler) at his own funeral. Fisk the love interest of Gubler’s character. [Source: THR]
