Sullivan Stapleton (“Strike Back,” “300: Rise of an Empire”) is set to star in Krive Stenders’ Aussie crime thriller “Kill Me Three Times”.

“Luther” and “Pacific Rim” star Idris Elba is reportedly keen on a cameo in the sequel to “The Inbetweeners” movie. During a recent podcast, actor Anthony Head said:

“I was at a gig with Idris Elba recently and he says he’ll do anything in it. He said he’d do a walk-on, so I’ve got to email them and say: ‘Idris Elba wants to be in it.” [Source: Empire]

Mickey Rourke has joined the cast of Ara Paiaya’s “Skin Traffik” at Raging Pictures. Daryl Hannah, Eric Roberts, Michael Madsen and Jeff Fahey also star.

Left Behind
Cassi Thomson (“Switched at Birth”) will replaced Ashley Tisdale in Vic Armstrong’s film adaptation of “Left Behind” at Stoney Lake Entertainment. Nicolas Cage, Chad Michael Murray and Jordin Sparks also star.

The story follow a group of survivors during the first few hours after millions of people around the globe simply vanish without warning. Thomson plays the daughter of Cage’s character. Filming began Friday in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. [Source: Variety]
