Yet again, Production Weekly has broken a number of casting scoops today for several upcoming projects. Today however, these are ‘rumoured’ connections rather than being ‘signed on’ or ‘in talks’ for these projects.
The most eye-opening is that Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Amanda Seyfried are all apparently attached to a new film adaptation of the F. Scott Fitzgerald classic “The Great Gatsby”.
Emily Blunt is being mentioned as a potential to join Rian Johnson’s time travel thriller “Looper” which also stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis.
Liev Schreiber is apparently looking into a pair of projects including the hockey comedy “The Goon” and the Samuel L. Jackson-led thriller “Jack”.
Finally, Anna Faris and Andy Samberg have been linked to the body-switching comedy “Opposites Attract” which Michael Shapiro is attached to direct.
