Casting: Rodriguez, Corbett, Walter, Marsan

Genesis Rodriguez (“Man on a Ledge,” “Identity Thief”) is in final negotiations to join Justin Long and Michael Parks in Kevin Smith’s upcoming horror film “Tusk”.

Rodriguez will play the girlfriend of a podcaster (Long) who finds himself the victim of a deranged serial killer (Parks) and his twisted games. Filming begins next month. [Source: Flickering Myth]

Jessica Walter (“Arrested Development,” “Archer”) has joined the comedy pilot “Jennifer Falls”.

Jonathan Strange
Bertie Carvel and Eddie Marsan will co-star in The BBC’s seven hour miniseries adaptation of Susanna Clarke’s novel “Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell”. Toby Haynes helms the project which will shoot in Leeds, Montreal and Venice from next week.

Set in the early 1800s during the Napoleonic Wars, the story follows two very different magicians who emerge to change England’s history. Marsan will star as Norrell, Carvel as his student Strange. [Source: Broadway Worls]
