Robert Pattinson has confirmed he’s set to star in Olivier Assayas’ next project, the United States-set $30 million-budget “Idol’s Eye” (formerly titled “Hubris”) starting in November.

Based on a 2007 Playboy article and inspired by actual events, the story follows a bunch of regular criminals who accidentally robbed Chicago mafia boss Tony Accardo. [Source: The Playlist]

Skylar Astin and Ben Platt will reprise their roles of Jesse and Benji in the upcoming comedy/musical sequel “Pitch Perfect 2”. The pair played roommates turned a capella singers in the first film and their return was confirmed via social media. [Source: Twitter]

Newcomer Mitchell Hope, Tye Sheridan (“Mud”) and Nick Robinson (“Jurassic World”) are all expected to test with Chloe Moretz for the young male lead role in the sci-fi thriller “The Fifth Wave”.

Sleepy Hollow
British actor Neil Jackson will reprise his role as Abraham Von Brunt, the Headless Horseman when he had a head, in the upcoming second season of Fox’s “Sleepy Hollow”.

Jackson appeared in only one episode of the first season, but he is set to “heavily recur” in the upcoming second season. [Source: Deadline]

Netflix Drama Series
Chloe Sevigny and Steven Pasquale have joined the cast of Netflix’s untitled psychological thriller series from the creators of “Damages”.

Sevigny plays Chelsea, a former flame of Ben Mendelsohn’s character. Pasquale will play a potential love interest of Linda Cardellini’s character. Kyle Chandler also stars. [Source: TV Line]
