Three Seconds
David Oyelowo (“Three Seconds”) will join Luke Evans in Otto Bathurst’s thriller “Three Seconds”. Basil Iwanyk and Ollie Madden will produce this adaptation of the bestselling Swedish thriller by Anders Roslund and Borge Hellstrom.

Evans plays a man forced undercover in prison as part of an FBI operation, but when he’s abandoned by the agency, he has no choice but to escape on his own. [Source: Variety]

Jamie Foxx is set to star in Noam Murro’s drama “Blink” at Atlas Entertainment. Hernany Perla penned the script, William Green and Aaron Ginsburg are producing and filming begins this Fall.

Foxx will play a hospital caregiver tasked with caring for a mysterious victim of a bank robber. As the two become closer, it’s revealed the caregiver has ulterior motives of his own. [Source: Variety]

Heaven Sent
Lindsey Gort (“The Carrie Diaries”) has scored the female lead role in the romantic comedy “Heaven Sent”. Filming begins later this month in Los Angeles

Gort will play a young woman who discovers her name is missing from a list of people waiting to be admitted to into heaven. She’s immediately sent back to Earth as an angel to find out why she’s been left off the list – and the only person who can see her is her ex-boyfriend. [Source: Deadline]

Personal Shopper
Kristen Stewart is set to star in Olivier Assayas’ Paris-set English-language ghost story “Personal Shopper”. Filming begins this Fall in Paris.

The story reportedly takes place in the fashion underworld and will feature some of same themes as Stewart and Assayas’ last collaboration “Sils Maria”. [Source: Variety]

Alan Van Sprang (“The Tudors,” “Reign”) and Harry Shum Jr. (“Glee”) have joined the cast of ABC Family’s “Shadowhunters,” a TV series adaptation of Cassandra Clare’s “The Mortal Instruments” novels. The series follows a young woman who learns she’s descended from a long line of human-angel hybrids who hunt down demons.

Van Sprang will play Valentine, a mysterious Shadowhunter wielding immense power and whom executes anyone in his way. Shum Jr. will play Magnus Bane, a centuries-old Brooklyn warlock with eccentric style. [Source: Deadline]
