Haley Joel Osment has scored a supporting role in Doug Ellin’s film adaptation of the HBO comedy series “Entourage” at Warner Bros. Pictures.

Vanishing Angle
Rachel Dratch, Trevor St John, Wendy Moniz, Oona Laurence, Jeremy Shinder, Sonya Harum and Mike Faist have all joined the cast of “In the Family” filmmaker Patrick Wang’s second directorial effort “The Grief of Others”.

Based on the novel by Leah Hager Cohen, the story centers on a couple who attempt to move on following the death of their baby. Filming begins in New York state in April. [Source: Screen]

Micah Hauptman (“Parker,” “Silver Skies”) has joined the cast of Baltasar Kormakur’s currently filming action adventure drama “Everest” at Working Title and Universal. Hauptman will play filmmaker and mountaineer David Breashears, director of the IMAX documentary “Everest”.

The film deals with the 1996 multi-expedition ascent on Mount Everest that left eight climbers dead. Josh Brolin, John Hawkes, Jason Clarke, and Jake Gyllenhaal also star. [Source: Deadline]

Midnight Rider
Charles Dutton, Aldis Hodge and Kathy Baker have joined the cast of the Gregg Allman biopic “Midnight Rider” from Unclaimed Freight Productions. Baker plays Allman’s mother, while the other two play the older and younger versions of Chank Middleton – Gregg’s best friend, confidant and assistant.

Tyson Ritter and William Hurt play the young and old versions of Allman. Eliza Dushku, Bradley Whitford, Joel David Moore, Zoey Deutch and Chad Lindberg also star. [Source: Billboard]
