Michael Nyqvist is joining Christian Camargo’s directorial debut – a modern retelling of Anton Chekhov’s “The Seagull”. Katie Holmes, William Hurt, Allison Janney, Cherry Jones, Jean Reno and Mark Rylance also star.
The action is moved to rural New England where reckless desire wreaks havoc for a family over Memorial Day weekend. Nyqvist plays the jovial estate caretaker and shooting begins next month in Connecticut. [Source:Variety]

Bernadette Peters is set to voice Glinda the Good Witch of the North in the 3D animated feature “Dorothy of Oz” at Summertime Entertainment.
Peters will also sing a duet on the film’s soundtrack with “Glee’s” Lea Michele who is voicing Dorothy. Martin Short, Jim Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, Kelsey Grammer, Hugh Dancy, Oliver Platt and Patrick Stewart also star. [Source: Variety]
