Eduardo Noriega (“The Devil’s Backbone,” “Vantage Point”) will face off against Arnold Schwarzenegger in Kim Jee-Woon’s “Last Stand” for Lionsgate.

Schwarzenegger plays the sheriff of a sleepy little town who runs up against Cortez (Noriega), a ruthless fugitive drug cartel leader heading for the Mexican border with $400 million. [Source: Variety]

Javier Bardem himself seems to have confirmed something we’ve known for a few months now – he’s playing the villain in the next 007 film.
