Joe Manganiello is in negotiations to join Arnold Schwarzenegger in David Ayer’s action thriller “Breacher” at QED International. Manganiello plays Grinder, a DEA agent who discovers a conscience and attempts to contact the police.
The story follows 10 DEA agents who pull off a heist during an enforcement operation, then start dying one by one. Sam Worthington, Terrence Howard and Dawn Olivieri also star. [Source: Heat Vision]
Bruce Dern and Will Forte are set to star in Alexander Payne’s “Nebraska” at Paramount Pictures. Shooting on the $13 million project kicks off in October.
Dern will play a crotchety alcoholic dad who receives a pro forma sweepstakes letter in the mail, thinks he’s struck it rich and wrangles his underachieving son (Forte) into taking a road trip to claim the fortune. [Source: Deadline]
Mickey Rourke is the latest to join Albert Hughes’ thriller “Motor City”. Gerard Butler plays an ex-prisoner who seeks to hunt down the people responsible for putting him inside. It is not known which role Rourke will take.
Mickey is also rumoured to be making an appearance in the “Sin City” sequel “Sin City: A Dame To Kill For”. [Source: The Press Association]
