Casting News: Lovelace, Imogene, Gangster

Olivia Wilde (“Tron Legacy,” “Cowboys and Aliens”) has not yet signed on but is considering starring in the biopic “Lovelace” from Oscar-winning co-directors Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman.

Wilde would play Linda Lovelace, the star of 1970s X-rated flick “Deep Throat” who became an anti-pornography advocate. This is not to be confused with a rival project starring Malin Akerman which Lindsay Lohan was also attached to at one point. [Source: E! Online]

Breakout “Glee” star Darren Criss has joined the cast of Kristen Wiig’s new comedy “Imogene”, starring as a young love interest for Wiig’s character.

Wiig plays a woman who fakes suicide to get back with an ex but ends up having to go live with her gambling-addict mom (Annette Bening). [Source: Vulture]
