John Cho (“Star Trek”) and Clark Duke (“Hot Tub Time Machine”) have joined the cast of Seth Gordon’s comedy “The Identity Thief” at Universal.
The story centers on a family man (Jason Bateman) who gets a life-lesson in stepping up when his identity is stolen by a mess of a woman (Melissa McCarthy). Amanda Peet also stars.

Ralph Macchio (“The Karate Kid”) has signed on to Sacha Gervasi’s “Hitchcock” which deals with the making of the horror classic “Psycho”.
Macchio will play the film’s screenwriter Joe Stefano. Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren, Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Biel also star. [Source: Deadline]
Josh Charles (“The Good Wife”) has joined Pascale Ferran’s French and English-language relationship drama “Bird People” which also stars AnaÃ¯s Demoustier.
Charles plays an American who checks into a Paris hotel, turns off his cell and laptop and starts a new life. Apparently there’s also a supernatural element and shooting begins shortly in Paris. [Source: Deadline]
