Caught in Flight
Naomi Watts is in talks to play Princess Diana in “Caught in Flight “, a feature about the late royal’s final two years which Oliver Hirschbiegel (“Downfall”) is directing later this year.

The story will focus on a period when Diana found “true personal happiness” shortly before her death in a 1997 car crash in Paris. It’s not confirmed whether the film will feature Diana’s relationship with Dodi Fayed, the princess’s boyfriend who died with her in the crash. [Source: AFP]

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
Comedian Patton Oswalt is in negotiations to join Ben Stiller and Kristen Wiig in the long-gestating remake of “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” at 20th Century Fox which begins shooting in April.

Stiller plays a timid daydreamer who develops photos of other people’s adventures rather than living his own. Oswalt will play a friendly eHarmony counselor who helps Stiller’s character create an online dating profile. [Source: ShowBlitz.

The Warren Files
Hayley McFarland (“Lie to Me”) and Shanley Caswell (“Detention”) are set to play the older siblings opposite Mackenzie Foy and Joey King as the younger sisters in James Wan’s horror flick “The Warren Files” at New Line.

Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Lilli Taylor and Ron Livingston also star in this film about a family in the 1970’s who claimed spirits both friendly and sinister inhabited their Rhode Island farmhouse. [Source: Bloody Disgusting]

Danny Glover, Joe Anderson (“The River”) and Dawn Olivieri (“House of Lies”) are set to star in Deon Taylor’s indie drama “Supremacy” which begins shooting this month.

Based on a true story, the story follows a recently paroled white supremacist who, after killing a police officer, takes an African American family hostage. Vincent Cirrincione and Roxanne Avent are producing. [Source: Variety]
