Jennifer Connelly is in talks to join Akiva Goldsman’s directorial debut “Winter’s Tale” at Warner Bros. Pictures.

The story follows a dying young woman (Jessica Brown Findlay) who falls in love with a thief (Colin Farrell) who breaks into her palatial West Side home. Connelly is in talks to play the girl’s mother. [Source: Deadline]

Wish You Well
Mackenzie Foy (“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2”) is set to star in Darnell Martin’s indie drama “Wish You Well” alongside Ellen Burstyn and Josh Lucas. The 1940’s-set coming-of-age story is based on the novel by David Baldacci and is currently shooting in Virginia.

Foy plays a young girl who, along with her brother, moves from New York to a Virginia farm to live with their great-grandmother following a family tragedy. The change of scenery helps her understand what inspired her father’s writings while discovering herself. [Source: Variety]

Grudge Match
Kevin Hart is set to play a fight promoter who gets Robert De Niro and Sylvester Stallone’s retired brawlers back in the ring in the action comedy “Grudge Match” at Warner Bros. Pictures.

“Entourage” creator Doug Ellin penned the script while Peter Segal is helming the project which has just received the green light. [Source: Deadline]
