The Bitter Pill
Vinessa Shaw (“The Hills Have Eyes,” “Big Miracle”) will join Rooney Mara, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Channing Tatum and Jude Law in Steven Soderbergh’s erotic thriller “Bitter Pill” at Open Road.

Jude Law plays a doctor who who gets into a relationship with a troubled woman (Rooney Mara) on prescription drugs to deal with the pending release of her imprisoned husband (Channing Tatum). Shaw plays Law’s wife. [Source: Deadline]

Small Time
Bridget Moynahan (“I Robot,” “The Recruit”) is in negotiations to join the cast of Joel Surnow’s semi-autobiographical drama “Small Time” which begins shooting in April.

Chris Meloni is playing a used car dealer in Van Nuys who is still in love with his ex-wife (Moynahan) and is dealing with a son (Devon Bostick) who wants to forgo college and work alongside his father on the lot. [Source: The Hollywood Reporter]

Carrie
Chloe Moretz (“Hugo,” “Kick-Ass”) has confirmed via her Twitter feed she’s won the role of Carrie White in Kimberly Peirce’s upcoming remake of Stephen King’s “Carrie”.
