Elisabeth Moss (“Mad Men”) and Danish actors Claes Bang and Christopher Laesso have signed on to star in “Force Majeure” director Ruben Ostlund’s new darkly humorous drama “The Square” which is set against the backdrop of the international art world. SNL alum Cecily Strong is attached to star opposite Jessica Chastain in Patrick Brice’s comedy “Plus One”. Chastain plays a single woman who realizes she has limited choices in girlfriends who can join her on the single’s scene because all of her close friends are married or about to be. David Dastmalchian (“Ant-Man”) has been set to play the male lead in Collin Schiffli’s “All Creatures Here Below” with filming to begin this Summer. The Base
Cam Gigandet is set to star in the Jesse Gustafson-directed action thriller “The Base” which just began production. Gigandet plays the leader of a band of military prisoners who have to fight off a terrorist attack on the remote ‘black site’ prison in which they’re being held – a facility that’s a cover for a secret drone control facility.
