Radha Mitchell’s Next
Radha Mitchell (“Pitch Black,” “Silent Hill”) has been cast in both Tara Subkoff’s indie feature “Playdate” and Scott Walker’s thriller “The Frozen Ground”. ‘Playdate’ begins filming mid-November in Los Angeles, no plot details forthcoming.

Mitchell will segue from that into ‘Frozen’ playing the wife of Nicolas Cage’s detective character as he searches for a serial killer with the help of an escaped victim. [Source: Risky Biz Blog]

Fast Flash to Bang Time

Over the Wall
Melissa Leo and Hayden Panettiere have joined the cast of Steven Christopher Young’s indie dramatic thriller “Over the Wall” alongside Nick Stahl and Freddy Rodriguez with shooting kicking off this spring in Ohio and North Carolina.

Set in the world of professional stock car racing, the story focuses on how one tragic event rips apart the lives and relationships of four closely intertwined people – husband, wife, surrogate mother and best friend. [Source: Variety]

Malcolm McDowell, Sarah Gadon, Caleb Landry Jones, Douglas Smith, Matt Watts and James Cade have all joined the cast of Brandon Cronenberg’s dark sci-fi comedy “Antiviral” which begins shooting next week in Toronto.
