Ben McKenzie (“Southland,” “The O.C.”) will co-star with Pierce Brosnan and Salma Hayek in Tom Vaughan’s indie comedy “How to Make Love Like an Englishman”.

Byrne is in early talks to re-team with her “Bridesmaids” director Paul Feig and co-star Melissa McCarthy for the spy comedy “Susan Cooper” at 20th Century Fox.

Laura Donnelly and Lotte Verbeek have joined the cast of Ron Moore’s series adaptation of Diana Gabaldon’s “Outlander” novels for Starz. Donnelly plays the older sister and surrogate mother of the male lead, Verbeek plays the wife of the procurator fiscal.

The story follows Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe), a married combat nurse from 1945 who is mysteriously swept back in time to Scotland 1743 where she is forced to marry a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan). [Source: Futon Critic]
