Melissa McCarthy has signed on to voice the role of the oddball partner Watts to Seth Rogen’s Agent Jackson Moss lead character in 2015’s “B.O.O (Bureau Of Otherworldly Operations)” at DreamWorks Animation.

The story follows a super secret government agency dedicated to protecting humans from evil hauntings. The two agents uncover a plot by the agency’s Most Wanted Haunter to destroy B.O.O. agency. [Source: Deadline]

Second Honeymoon
Chris Tucker is attached to star in Phil Joanou’s comedy “Second Honeymoon” at Relativity Media. Todd Garner, Ryan Kavanaugh and Karen Bell are producing.

The story concerns a couple who attempt to jumpstart their marriage by returning to Antigua, where they eloped 10 years earlier after a wild week of debauchery. Their plans fall apart when they discover the surprising ways they affected the people they came into contact with one their first visit. [Source: THR]

Laura Dern will join Josh Duhamel, Maria Bello, Lucas Till and Tom Everett Scott on Daniel Duran’s debut film “Strings”. Dern will play a beautiful but beaten-down woman who has never recovered from the death of her eldest son.

Oscar Torres’ script follows a young, drug-addicted DJ (Till), ordered by the court to live out the rest of his underage years in the custody of his estranged father. Duhamel stars as an army veteran-turned-counselor who treats Till’s character and makes a shocking discovery. [Source: THR]

Veronica Mars
Tina Majorino has signed on to return for Rob Thomas’ upcoming “Veronica Mars” movie. Majorino will reprise her role as Cindy “Mac” Mackenzie.
