Mary Pickford
Jude Law is being sought to play legendary actor Douglas Fairbanks in Jennifer DeLia and Julie Pacino’s biopic of silent film star Mary Pickford at Poverty Row Entertainment.

Lily Rabe has already been cast as Pickford who was married to Fairbanks. Other key roles yet to be cast include Charlie Chaplin and D.W. Griffiths. [Source: Forbes]

Grudge Match
Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro are in negotiations to team on Peter Segal’s “Grudge Match” at Warner Bros. Pictures. “Entourage” creator Doug Ellin penned the latest draft and shooting aims to begin early next year.

The comedy follows two retired boxers who return to the ring for a final grudge match. Mark Steven Johnson, Bill Gerber and Carrie Gillogly will produce. [Source: The Wrap]

Michelle Pfieffer is in negotiations to play the arsonist wife of Robert De Niro’s character in Luc Besson’s mafia-themed thriller “Malavita”, an adaptation of Tonino Benacquista’s novel Badfellas.
