Casting: Lutz, Fuhrman, Lovato, Stapleton

Kellan Lutz (“Twilight”) and Gina Carano (“Fast and Furious 6”) are set to star alongside Bruce Willis in the Steven C. Miller-directed “Extraction” at Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films. Umair Aleem and Max Adams penned the script about a CIA rookie (Lutz) who sets out to find his kidnapped father (Willis) against the agency’s wishes.

Carano plays Victoria, a tough field operative assigned to hunt down Lutz’s character. Dan Bilzerian, Lydia Hull and Tyler Olson also star. [Source: Deadline]

Isabelle Fuhrman (“The Hunger Games”) and Martin Henderson (“Everest”) will join Max Martini, Kimberly Elise and Johnathon Schaech in the independent drama “Hellbent” which begins filming this week in New Mexico.

Tjardus Greidanus is directing from his own script. Fuhrman portrays a ten runaway who enlists a fugitive drifter to take her on a cross-country journey to meet the father she’s never known. [Source: Variety]

Singer Demi Lovato is set to voice the female lead and executive produce the music score for 3QU Media’s animated feature “Charming”. John H. Williams will produce the sub-$20 million film which Ross Venokur will direct from his script.

The story re-imagines the tales of Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty after they discover they are all engaged to the same Prince Charming. [Source: Variety]

Sullivan Stapleton (“300: Rise of an Empire,” “Strike Back”) has scored the male lead role in NBC’s Greg Berlanti-produced drama pilot “Blindspot”. Jaimie Alexander (“Thor”) plays a beautiful woman with amnesia who awakens and emerges from a duffel bag in New York’s Times Square. She also has extensive tattoos on her body.

Stapleton plays special agent Kurt Weller, the leader of an elite FBI unit called in to investigate the woman who also has his name written on her back. Martin Gero will pen the script and executive produce. [Source: The Live Feed]
