At Hugh Jackman’s urging, Anne Hathaway is reportedly up for the role of Fantine in Tom Hooper’s anticipated film version of the epic musical “Les Miserables”.

The site claims Hathaway is up against the likes of Amy Adams and Rebecca Hall for the role. Jackman will begin shooting Les Mis in the UK later this year ahead of his commitment to “The Wolverine”. [Source: Broadway World]

The Story of Bonnie and Clyde
Thanks to a pay-or-play deal, Hilary Duff was still paid $100,000 despite being dropped from the forthcoming “The Story of Bonnie and Clyde”.

Tate Donovan, Nelson Franklin and Taylor Schilling have joined the cast of Ben Affleck’s upcoming Iranian hostage thriller “Argo”.

Tony Todd will both pen and make his directorial debut on the supernatural thriller “Catalytic” for Assembly Line.
