Labeouf Gibson Team On A Comedy

Pieces of a Woman
Shia LaBeouf will join Vanessa Kirby in the indie drama “Pieces Of A Woman” which hails from Little Lamb Productions and BRON Studios. Kornel Mundruczo will direct from a script by Kata Weber and filming begins in Montreal starting in December.

The story follows a grieving woman who, when a home birth goes tragically awry, is thrust into an emotional inner journey by trying to come to terms with her loss while also dealing with the ramifications in her interpersonal relationships with her husband and estranged mother. [Source: THR]

Parker Posey will star in the eight-episode prison-break thriller scripted podcast series “Hunted” which hails from Endeavor Audio and Wolf Entertainment. The first two episodes premiere November 12th on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Pandora.

Posey plays U.S. Deputy Marshal Emily Barnes is called in to track down four convicts who have escaped from a maximum-security prison, with the assistance of her partner, Anthony Morra (Brandon Scott). The Craft
“Godless” actor Julian Grey will join Cailee Spaeny, Gideon Adlon, Lovie Simone, Zoey Luna, David Duchovny and Nicholas Galitzine in the new take on “The Craft” for Blumhouse, Red Wagon and Sony Pictures.

Zoe Lister-Jones is writing and directing the new version which follows a newcomer at a Catholic prep high school who falls in with a trio of outcast teenage girls who practice witchcraft, and wage curses against those who tick them off. [Source: Bloody Disgusting]

French Exit
Danielle Macdonald (“Patti Cake$”) has joined the Azazel Jacobs-directed “French Exit” at Sony Pictures Classics. Michelle Pfeiffer, Lucas Hedges, and Tracy Letts star in the comedy-drama based on the novel by Canadian author Patrick deWitt who also adapted the screenplay. Shooting is underway in Montreal and Paris.

The story follows 60-year-old penniless Manhattan socialite Frances Price (Pfeiffer), whose plan to die before her money ran out doesn’t pan out. She cashes in the last of her possessions and resolves to live out her twilight days anonymously in a modest apartment in Paris. [Source: Deadline]
