The Longest Ride
Jack Huston (“Boardwalk Empire”) has been set to star in George Tillman’s film adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks tale “The Longest Ride” at Fox 2000.

Huston will play the young Ira in a tale that brings together two intertwining love stories – an elderly couple reminiscing about life, and the blossoming romance of a young art history major and a handsome bull rider (Huston). [Source: Deadline]

Chocolate City
Rapper and actor Romeo Miller (aka. Lil’ Romeo) will join Michael Jai White and Tyson Beckford in Jean Claude LaMarre’s urban stripper drama “Chocolate City”. Filming begins in Los Angeles at the end of June.

Miller will star a young college student who is lured into the world of male exotic dancing to pay the bills. Eurika Pratts (“Basketball Girlfriends”) has also been cast as his girlfriend Carmen, the pair’s relationship strained by his new career. [Source: Deadline]

The Woman in Gold
Jonathan Pryce (“Pirates of the Caribbean”), Charles Dance (“Game of Thrones”), Elizabeth McGovern (“Downton Abbey”), Max Irons (“The White Queen”) and Antje Traue (“Man of Steel”) have joined the ensemble cast of Simon Curtis’ “The Woman in Gold”.

The true story tale follows a Holocaust survivor (Helen Mirren) who sets out to recover her family’s artworks that were stolen by the Nazis. Filming began in London last week. Ryan Reynolds, Katie Holmes, Daniel Bruhl and Tatiana Maslany also star. [Source: THR]

Texas Rising
Kris Kristofferson is set to play President Andrew Jackson in the four-part, eight-hour miniseries “Texas Rising” for A+E Studios and ITV Studios America.

The story details the Texas Revolution against Mexico and the rise of the legendary Texas Rangers. Bill Paxton, Brendan Fraser, Ray Liotta, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Thomas Jane, Olivier Martinez, Chad Michael Murray, Michael Rapaport and Max Thieriot also star. [Source: The Live Feed]
