Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
Jack Huston (“Boardwalk Empire”) has closed a deal to play Wickham in Burr Steers’ adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s “Pride And Prejudice And Zombies”. Lily James, Sam Riley and Bella Heathcote also star.

The film is a mashup of the 1813 Jane Austen classic Pride And Prejudice with zombies. Wickham is a charismatic blond lieutenant who aims to teach zombies to fight, and he wins Liz over with his theories regarding training them. [Source: Deadline]

The new Wonder Woman herself, actress Gal Gadot, has signed on to join the cast of Ariel Vromen’s thriller “Criminal” for Millennium Films. Ryan Reynolds, Gary Oldman and Tommy Lee Jones also star.

The story centers on a dead CIA operative’s memories, secrets and skills, which were implanted into a dangerous prison inmate (Kevin Costner) in hopes that he will stop a diabolical plot. Gadot will play Reynolds’ wife. [Source: Heat Vision]

Mary Shelley’s Monster
Sophie Turner (“Game of Thrones”) has signed on to play Frankenstein author Mary Shelley in Coky Giedroyc’s new biopic “Mary Shelley’s Monster”. Jeremy Irvine and Taissa Farmiga co-star as her husband and stepsister respectively.

The story follows the young author as she writes her classic Frankenstein novel, a book whose literary success comes at a great personal cost. [Source: Deadline]

Welcome To Purgatory
Peter Stomare has signed on to play fallen angel Lucius in the upcoming fantasy film “Welcome To Purgatory”. Bruce Campbell also stars.
