“Treme” and “Nashville”actor Michiel Huisman has joined the cast of the fourth season of HBO’s “Game of Thrones”. Details on who Huisman will play are being kept under wraps.

Megan Mullally and Jennifer Coolidge have joined the cast of live-action adaptation of Judith Viorst’s 1972 kids book “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” for Disney Pictures.
The story follows an 11-year-old on a day that begins with gum stuck in his hair, and gets worse from there. Filming just began in the Los Angeles area. [Source: THR]
Vincent Cassel is set to replace Philip Seymour Hoffman in Daniel Espinosa’s 1950s Stalinist Russia-set thriller “Child 44”.

Staten Island Summer
John DeLuca (“Teen Beach Movie,” “Twisted”) has signed onto Rhys Thomas’ coming-of-age comedy “Staten Island Summer” at Paramount Insurge. DeLuca plays a young, hunky Italian lifeguard dreaming of joining the Navy.
The story revolves around Harvard-bound Danny (Graham Phillips) and his unambitious best friend Frank (Zach Pearlman) who work as lifeguards during their summer before college. Filming begins later this week in New York. [Source: THR]
