Philip Seymour Hoffman is set to star in and executive produce Showtime’s comedy pilot “Trending Down”. Kathryn Hahn is also expected to be announced as the female lead in the series.

“The Big Bang Theory” star Simon Helberg will make his feature directorial debut alongside his writer-director wife Jocelyn Towne on “We’ll Never Have Paris”. Helberg also co-wrote the script and will star.

Elisabeth Moss and Jason Schwartzman will star in Alex Ross Perry’s New York-set indie drama “Listen Up Philip” at Sailor Bear Films. Shooting begins this Fall.

Wayward Pines
Shannyn Sossamon (“A Knight’s Tale”) has joined the cast of Fox’s 10-episode event series “Wayward Pines”. Sossamon will play the wife of Matt Dillon’s Secret Service agent lead character.
