Mission: Impossible 5
British character actor Sean Harris (“The Borgias,” “Deliver Us From Evil,” “Prometheus”) has been offered and is in negotiations to play another villain – the baddie in Christopher McQuarrie’s “Mission: Impossible 5” at Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions.

Driving Dick Kelly
Robert De Niro and Zac Efron are in early talks to star in “Driving Dick Kelly” (formerly “Dirty Grandpa”) for QED International. Dan Mazer is directing from a script by John Phillips, with Barry Josephson producing.

The story follows a young man (Zac Efron) who, just before his wedding, gets tricked by his perverted grandpa, who is a former U.S. Army General (Robert De Niro), to go on a road trip to Florida for spring break. Arms and the Dudes
Jesse Eisenberg and Shia LaBeouf are about to begin talks to star in the Todd Phillips-directed “Arms and the Dudes” for Warner Bros. Pictures. The story is based on a Rolling Stone article by Guy Lawson and Phillips, while Jason Smilovic is writing the script.

The story follows two of the unlikeliest arms dealers who get a $300 million contract to supply weapons for its allies in Afghanistan. They soon found themselves in danger both abroad and back home as they are completely out of their depth. [Source: Deadline]

Naomi Watts and Jake Gyllenhaal are set to star in “Wild” director Jean-Marc Vallee’s new romantic tale “Demolition”. Filming is slated to begin in New York City on September 15th.

The story is based on Bryan Sipe’s Black List screenplay about a young investment banker wrestling with the aftermath of his wife’s death who meets a woman that changes his life. [Source: Screen]
