“Mad Men” star Jon Hamm is set to star in the action thriller “High Wire Act” for Radar Pictures. Brad Anderson (“The Machinist,” “Session 9”) helms from a script by Tony Gilroy. Ted Field and Mike Weber will produce.

Hamm plays a former US diplomat in 1980s Beirut who must save a colleague from the group that was possibly responsible for his own family’s death. [Source: Screen]

The True Memoirs of an International Assassin
Comedian Kevin James will star in Jeff Wadlow’s action comedy “The True Memoirs of an International Assassin” for PalmStar Media and Global Film Group. Production is slated to begin in September.

The story follows a mild-mannered accountant and fledgling author who is mistaken for a killer-for-hire when his fictional novel about an international assassin is published as a true story. Trying to escape sudden fame and celebrity, he heads to Belize but is immediately entangled in an assassination plot. [Source: The Wrap]

The Worst Marriage in Georgetown
Christoph Waltz is set to both star in and make his directorial debut on the crime drama “The Worst Marriage in Georgetown” for Voltage Pictures. David Auburn penned the script and filming begins October 12th.

Based on the New York Times Magazine article by Franklin Foer, the story centers on Albrecht Muth (Waltz), an eccentric social climber and serial liar who seduced and married a wealthy older widow Viola Drath. [Source: Variety]

Ginnifer Goodwin (“Once Upon a Time”) is set to join Jason Bateman in “Zootopia” for Walt Disney Animation. Byron Howard and Rich Moore will direct the project which is targeting a March 4th 2016 release.

The story is set in a modern mammal metropolis a by-the-book meter maid rabbit who dreams of being a cop. When a mystery is discovered, she forges an unlikely friendship with a fast-talking scam-artist fox (Bateman) to solve it. [Source: Heat Vision]
