Comedian Kathy Griffin has been tapped to play Kellyanne Conway in a new “Make America Great-A-Thon: A President Show Special” special for Comedy Central airing Tuesday April 3rd. The mock telethon will be hosted by Anthony Atamanuik as U.S. President Donald Trump, Peter Grosz as V.P. Mike Pence and Griffin as Conway. [Source: Page Six]

Troupe Zero
Mckenna Grace (“I, Tonya,” “Fuller House”) has landed a lead role opposite Viola Davis in “Troupe Zero” at Amazon Studios. Bert & Bertie are directing from a script by Lucy Alibar while Todd Black will produce. No plot details have been released. [Source: Deadline]

Amber Heard, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Jacob Latimore, Alice Eve, and Jonathan Majors will join Charlie Plummer in the indie drama “Gully” which marks the feature film debut of music video director Nabil Elderkin.

Marcus Guillory penned the script which is set in a slightly dystopian version of Los Angeles. It follows three disaffected teenagers, all victims of childhood trauma, who are running a hedonistic riot. Heard plays Plummer’s mom. [Source: Variety]

Untitled Miranda July Film
Evan Rachel Wood (“Westworld”) and Gina Rodriguez (“Jane the Virgin”), and acting veterans Richard Jenkins and Debra Winger, are teaming for Miranda July’s new currently-untitled heist film for Annapurna Pictures and Plan B. Production is slated to begin in May with Youree Henley to produce.

The story centers on a woman named Old Dolio (Wood) whose life is turned upside down when her parents (Jenkins and Winger), amateur con artists, invite an outsider (Rodriguez) to join their biggest heist yet. [Source: THR]

Boss Level
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has joined the cast of Joe Carnahan’s action-thriller “Boss Level” starring Mel Gibson, Frank Grillo, Annabelle Wallis, Naomi Watts and Will Sasso. Gronkowski’s role is currently unknown.

Grillo plays a retired special forces officer trapped in a never-ending time loop on the day of his death. Roy has to repeat this particular day numerous times until he can figure out who is responsible and put an end to the loop. [Source: Tracking Board]
