John Gallagher Jr. (“Hush,” “10 Cloverfield Lane”) will join the horror feature “Larry” for Amblin Partners and the Picture Company. The project is based on a horror short by Jacob Chase, who will also write and direct. The story follows a young boy and his family who become the target of a monster who materializes through electronic devices. Miranda Richardson has signed on to star in the English-language remake of Cannes award winning Icelandic dark comedy “Rams” alongside Sam Neill and Michael Caton. Jeremy Sims directs the adaptation which is currently shooting in western Australia.
Richardson plays Kat, the local veterinarian of a sheep-farming town hit by a rare disease affecting the flocks of estranged brothers Colin and Les (Neill and Caton). Greg Kinnear will play comedian Bob Hope alongside Keira Knightley, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Jessie Buckley in the dramedy film “Misbehaviour” about the disrupted Miss World contest in 1970. Lesley Manville (“Phantom Thread”), Keeley Hawes (“Bodyguard”), Rhys Ifans (“Elementary”) and Phyllis Logan (“Downton Abbey'”) have also joined the cast.
The contest saw the newly founded Women’s Liberation Movement storm the stage during the live broadcast of the pageant, at the time the most-watched show around the globe. “Twin Peaks” star Kyle MacLachlan has signed on to play U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt in the eight-part Norwegian-produced World War II drama series “Atlantic Crossing”. Alexander Eik created the series and wrote the script with Linda May Kallestein
The story follows Norwegian Crown Princess Martha (Sofia Helin), who fled the Nazis and lived in the White House, becoming an influential figure in world politics. Her relationship with Roosevelt will be central to the show, which is set the U.S., Britain and Norway. Filming begins in December in the Czech Republic. [Source: Variety]

Owain Yeoman (“American Sniper”) and Ralph Ineson (‘Ready Player One”) are set to join Katie Holmes and Christopher Convery in William Brent Bell’s horror thriller “The Boy 2” at STXfilms and Lakeshore Entertainment.
In the film a young family moves into Heelshire Mansion, unaware of the terrifying history of the estate. Soon, their young son *Convery) makes an unsettling new friend, an eerily lifelike doll he calls Brahms. Yeoman and Holmes play the parents, Ineson has been cast in the role of Joseph.
