What To Expect When You’re Expecting
Rodrigo Santoro (“Lost,” “I Love You Phillip Morris”) is set play Jennifer Lopez’s husband in the ensemble adaptation of the best-selling pregnancy guidebook “What To Expect When You’re Expecting” at Lionsgate.
Cameron Diaz, Anna Kendrick and Brooklyn Decker also star in the film which tracks several couples who suffer the joys and pains of the childbirth process. Jonny Weston (“Sugar”) has joined the cast of Stephen Elliot’s “Cherry” about a girl’s journey into the porn industry.
Weston will play the girl’s ex boyfriend, replacing Jackson Rathbone who dropped out due to scheduling issues. James Franco, Heather Graham, Ashley Hinshaw and Dev Patel also star. [Source: Variety]
Actor and comedian J.B. Smoove has been cast in the Sacha Baron Cohen comedy “The Dictator” for Paramount Pictures.
Smoove will play the role of “Usher” in the film, though little is known about the character. Filming is currently underway in New York. [Source: The Hollywood Reporter]
Ian Ziering has signed on to join Nia Vardalos in Universal’s untitled American Girl project which begins shooting later this month in Winnipeg.
Jade Pettyjohn is set to star in the Vince Marcello-directed film, which is based on the popular line of dolls and accessories. Ziering and Vardalos will play Pettyjohn’s parents. [Source: Variety]
