Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur
Idris Elba is in talks to re-team with his “RocknRolla” director Guy Ritchie on “Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur” at Warner Bros. Pictures. The film is the first in a proposed six-movie fantasy re-telling of the King Arthur legend.

The “Luther” and “Pacific Rim” star will portray Bedivere, who serves as the right hand man to Arthur’s father, and is tasked with teaching Arthur how to lead an army. Testing for the role of Arthur will begin in August. The film itself will open July 2016. [Source: The Wrap]

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D
“Spartacus,” “Battlestar Galactica” and “Xena: Warrior Princess” star Lucy Lawless is returning to television, scoring a role on the upcoming second season of ABC’s “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D”.

The Company Man
Matthew McConaughey is reportedly in talks to join the cast of “The Company Man,” a film based on Andrew Cypiot’s Black List script. No director is attached as yet.

The true story tale follows CIA agent Edwin Wilson who went behind enemy lines to secure a weapons contract and report information back to the CIA shortly after the Cold War. He had a meteoric rise until company policies changed and he was unceremoniously fired. Ultimately he became public enemy No. 1 to the U.S. Attorney’s office. [Source: Deadline]

Anonymous Content (“True Detective”) and Carnival Films (“Downton Abbey”) are teaming to developing a new drama series starring Joseph Fiennes as Nostradamus.

The story of “Nostradamus” focuses on the famed French apothecary and reputed seer as he sets out to get revenge on the people who killed his family. Further casting and other details aren’t known yet. Fiennes will also have a producer credit. [Source: THR]

Sons of Anarchy
Malcolm-Jamal Warner (“The Cosby Show”) has scored a recurring role in the seventh and final season of FX’s motorcycle club drama “Sons of Anarchy”. The new season kicks off September 9th at 10pm.

Warner will play Sticky, a member of the Grim Bastards and right-hand man to T.O. Cross (Michael Beach). The new season begins just ten days after the two brutal deaths in last year’s season finale with Jax in jail on a parole violation. [Source: The Live Feed]
