The Intouchables
Chris Rock, Jamie Foxx and Idris Elba are all up for the key role in Paul Feig’s remake of French hit “The Intouchables”. The original has hauled in a massive $349 million international gross.

The story follows a wealthy, disabled man who hires a commoner caretaker. Jessica Chastain and Michelle Williams are also said to be in contention for the female lead. [Source: Vulture]

Dumb and Dumber 2
Jim Carrey has confirmed he’s skipping out on the proposed “Dumb and Dumber” sequel.

Sources report that Carrey grew frustrated with the studio which didn’t seem particularly enthusiastic about the project. [Source: Entertainment Tonight]

Spencer Lofranco, Taissa Farmiga and Nicholas Braun have joined the cast of the indie “Admissions” which begins shooting in July in Washington state.

Freddy Rodriguez (“Six Feet Under”) has scored the role of a junkie venue-haunter called Idaho in Randall Miller’s indie drama “CBGB”.
