Jane Got A Gun
Joel Edgerton (“The Thing,” “Zero Dark Thirty”) is in negotiations to join the cast of Lynne Ramsay’s “Jane Got a Gun”. Edgerton will play John Bishop, the leader of the gang of villains.
The story follows Jane Hammond (Natalie Portman), a woman in the Old West who enlists the help of a former lover (Michael Fassbender) when a band of outlaws come searching for her husband. [Source: Deadline]
Walk of Shame
Gillian Jacobs (“Community”) has joined the cast of Steven Brill’s comedy “Walk of Shame” at Lakeshore Entertainment, Sidney Kimmel Entertainment and FilmDistrict. Jacobs will play the female lead’s best friend.
Elizabeth Banks plays a high-strung news anchor who, after a wild night out, finds herself locked out on the street with no phone, money, ID or car. Added to this, the most important job interview of her life is scheduled to take place all the way across town in a few hours. [Source: THR]
Insidious Chapter 2
Barbara Hershey will reprise her role of Lorraine Lambert in James Wan’s upcoming “Insidious Chapter 2”. She joins returning cast members Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, and Ty Simpkins.
The 2011 original followed the story of Josh and Renai Lambert and their son Dalton, confronting the demons that possess the young boy. Shooting kicks off mid-January in Los Angeles. [Source: Deadline]
Janel Parrish (“Pretty Little Liars”) and Jackson Rathbone (“Twilight”) will play the leads in the Pece Dingo’s indie film “The Concerto”.
