Oscar nominee Glenn Close has committed to play the title role in Bjorn Runge’s “The Wife” based on Meg Wolitzer’s bestseller.

Nicolas Cage has signed on to star in Uli Edel’s upcoming supernatural thriller “Pay the Ghost” at Voltage Pictures. Daniel Kay penned the script and shooting aims to begin this summer.

Sam Neill, Tom Payne and Melia Kreiling will star in Andrew Goth’s $15 million-budget quantum theory-based thriller “DxM”. Antonia Campbell-Hughes, Dominique Tipper, Oliver Stark and world champion free runner Ryan Doyle also star.
The story follows a group of young bio-engineers who realize that quantum theory can be used to transfer motor skills from one brain to another, leading to intellectual equality. Amanda Peet, Jason Sudeikis, Alison Brie, Adam Scott, Jason Mantzoukas, and Natasha Lyonne have joined the cast of Leslye Headland’s comedy “Sleeping With Other People” at Sidney Kimmel Entertainment and Gloria Sanchez Productions.
Sudeikis plays a womanizer and Brie a serial cheater who form a platonic relationship to overcome their infidelity issues. Sidney Kimmel, Adam McKay, Will Ferrell, and Jessica Elbaum will produce. [Source: Deadline]
Singaporean actor Chin Han (“Captain America: The Winter Soldier”) has joined the cast of Netflix and Weinstein Company’s “Marco Polo” series which is currently shooting in Malaysia.
The story focuses on the explorer’s journey to the centre of a brutal war in 13th century China. Han will play Jia Sidao, the villain of the ten-episode series, which stars Italian actor Lorenzo Richelmy as Marco Polo. [Source: Screen]
