Casting: Claflin, Ehrenreich, Vaughn, Faris

Me Before You
Sam Claflin (“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”) and Emilia Clarke (“Game of Thrones”) are in negotiations to star in the Thea Sharrock-directed “Me Before You” at MGM, New Line and Warner Bros. Pictures. Scott Neustadter & Michael H. Weber (“500 Days Of Summer”) penned the most recent draft, and an August 2015 release is planned.

An adaptation of the Jojo Moyes best-selling novel, Clarke plays a small-town girl caught between dead-end jobs. Claflin plays an always successful man who finds himself wheelchair-bound and suicidal after an accident. He hires her as his caretaker for six months, and she becomes determined to prove to him life is worth living. [Source: Deadline]
