Following his breakout turn in “Call Me by Your Name” at Sundance, Timothee Chalamet is in negotiations to star opposite Steve Carell in “Beautiful Boy” for Amazon Studios and Plan B.

Felix van Groeningen (“The Broken Circle Breakdown”) is attached to direct this adaptation of David Sheff’s memoir on methamphetamine addiction and recovery through the eyes of a father whose son suffers from the disease. [Source: THR]

Michael Sheen and Michelle Monaghan are set to star in Peter Glanz’s “The Price of Admission”. Casey Affleck is executive producing the project which Glanz has penned.

Sheen will star as a playwright who is dealing with both a mid-life crisis and failing marriage. His wife Eliza (Monaghan), tired of playing second-fiddle to his work, wants a family. Sienna Miller, Jacki Weaver, Aaron Paul, and Christina Hendricks will star in the thriller “The Burning Woman” for Scott Free Productions. Jake Scott will direct from a script by Brad Ingelsby, while Ridley Scott, Kevin Walsh, and Mike Pruss will produce.

The story follows woman whose life is changed when her teenage daughter mysteriously disappears and she is left to raise her young grandson. [Source: Variety]

Andrea Riseborough (“Birdman”) is set to star in Christina Choe’s psychological drama “Nancy” for Mental Pictures, Mother Sucker, Eon Productions and Gamechanger Films. J. Smith-Cameron, Ann Dowd, John Leguizamo and Steve Buscemi also star.

Riseborough plays a serial imposter, who becomes perilously close to losing her entire identity – and the only person who’s ever truly loved her – when her elaborate lies inevitably unravel. [Source: Variety]
