10 Things I Hate About Life
Billy Campbell (TV’s “The Killing”) has joined the cast of Gil Junger’s indie rom-com “10 Things I Hate About Life” currently shooting in Los Angeles. Evan Rachel Wood and Thomas McDonnell play a young woman and man who meet while attempting to commit suicide at the same jumping-off point.
Complications ensue when the man’s ex-girlfriend re-enters his life just as his budding rock band is on the verge of signing a record deal. Campbell will play McDonnell’s father, a wealthy and entitled lawyer who doesn’t approve of his son dropping out of law school. [Source: THR]
Jerry Lewis begins work tomorrow on Daniel Noah’s indie drama “Max Rose,” which will mark Lewis’ first starring role since “Funny Bones” in 1995. Lewis plays a jazz pianist who has recently lost his wife of over five decades.

Need for Speed
Scott ‘Kid Cudi’ Mescudi is the latest name to join the cast of Scott Waugh’s upcoming film adaptation of the video game series “Need for Speed.”
The film is said to be a fast-paced, high-octane film rooted in the tradition of the great car culture films of the ’70s. Aaron Paul, Imogen Poots, Dominic Cooper, Ramon Rodriguez and Rami Malek have already been cast. [Source: Deadline]
