American Horror Story: Hotel
Supermodel Naomi Campbell is set for a multi-episode arc on the FX horror anthology series “American Horror Story: Hotel”. Campbell will play a fashion editor who must pay the ultimate price for her critiques.

Campbell begins shooting her scenes next week and is coming off a major arc on Fox’s “Empire”. “American Horror Story: Hotel” premieres in October on FX. [Source: The Live Feed]

Leo the African
French star Jamel Debbouze will star in the film adaptation of Amin Maalouf’s seminal true story novel “Leo The African”. A director is currently being sought for the project.

Debbouze will play Hasan Al-Wazzan, or Leon Africanus, the 16th century traveler and writer who fled the Spanish Inquisition and encountered pirates, slave girls and princesses in his travels on a merchant ship. He also underwent his own multi-faith journey against the backdrops of the fall of Granada, the Ottoman conquest of Egypt and Renaissance Rome under the Medicis. [Source: Deadline]

Burn Your Maps
Vera Farmiga and Virginia Madsen are set to star in the comedy-drama “Burn Your Maps” for Cinelou Films which begins shooting next week in Alberta, Canada. Suraj Sharma and Jacob Tremblay also star, while Patrick Aiello, Courtney Solomon and Mark Canton will produce.

Jordan Roberts helms the film, based on a Robyn Joy Leff short story, about an eight-year-old American boy who declares to his parents that he is actually a Mongolian goat herder born in the wrong place. When he meets a similarly displaced Indian filmmaker, they journey east, seeking what they believe to be their true place in the world. [Source: Variety]

Masters of Sex
“Archer” and “Ant-Man” actress Judy Greer will guest star on the third season of Showtime’s “Masters of Sex”.

Greer will play Alice Logan, the recovering alcoholic and long-suffering wife of a perfume magnate (Josh Charles) who approaches Masters (Michael Sheen) and Johnson (Lizzy Caplan) about bottling the smell of sex. The four share a dinner in which painful truths emerge. [Source: Variety]
