The Descendants
Dove Cameron (“Liv and Maddie,” “Shameless”) is set to play Mal, the daughter of “Sleeping Beauty” villain Maleficent, in the Disney Channel original live-action movie “The Descendants”. Filming begins next spring.

Luke Goss (“Hellboy: The Golden Army”) has been cast as Marine Conrad Miller, an AWOL soldier in possession of secret government information, in Christian Sesma’s action-thriller “AWOL 72” for Triumphant Pictures.

Ray Liotta, Mark Kassen (“Puncture”) and “Game of Thrones” actress Sophie Turner are set to star in Matthew Coppola’s indie drama “Alone”. Filming begins next month in New York.

Kevin Zegers (“Transamerica”) will co-star in the “Broadchurch” American event series remake “Gracepoint” on Fox. Zegers will play Owen Burke, a laid back young reporter whose ambitions are awakened by the arrival of a big city journalist.
