False Positive
Pierce Brosnan (“Goldeneye”) and Justin Theroux (“The Leftovers”) will join “Broad City” star Ilana Glazer in the horror film “False Positive” at A24. Zainab Jah, Gretchen Mol, Sophia Bush, and Josh Hamilton also star. Plot details have not yet been revealed but filming is set to begin Monday with John Lee directing. Lee co-wrote the script with Glazer, while she and Jonathan Wang are producing. [Source: THR]

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before 2
Singer Jordan Fisher has been cast in the key role of John Ambrose McClaren in the upcoming sequel to Netflix’s rom-com sensation “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before”. Michael Fimognari is replacing Susan Johnson as director, with Johnson still onboard as executive producer. Lana Condor and Noah Centineo will once again reprise their roles in the follow-up and Sofia Alvarez adapted the script from Jenny Han’s hit book series. [Source: Twitter]

Sonoya Mizuno (“Crazy Rich Asians,” “Maniac”) will play the title character in the Wes Ball-directed “Mouse Guard” at 20th Century Fox. Based on David Petersen’s Eisner-winning comic book, the story takes place in medieval times and follows a brotherhood of mice sworn to protect the fellow rodents in their midst. Patrick Schwarzenegger and Rupert Everett have joined the cast of Swedish director Agata Alexander’s sci-fi thriller “Warning” which is now shooting in Warsaw in Poland. The pair join Tomasz Kot, Alex Pettyfer, Alice Eve, Annabelle Wallis, Benedict Samuel, Charlotte Le Bon and Thomas Jane in the film which is about disparate lives colliding in interweaving stories set on a near-future earth. Madeline Brewer (“The Handmaid’s Tale”) and Frank Whaley (“Vacancy”) have boarded Lorene Scafaria’s “Hustlers” at STX, adding to the cast which includes Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu, Cardi B, Lili Reinhart, Keke Palmer, Julia Stiles , Oscar-winner Mercedes Ruehl, Trace Lysette and Mette Towley.
