Dave Bautista will join Jodie Foster in “Iron Man 3” co-writer Drew Pearce’s directorial debut “Hotel Artemis” for The Ink Factory and Lionsgate. Marc Platt, Adam Siegel, Simon Cornwell and Stephen Cornwell will produce.

Set in the near future, Hotel Artemis follows a nurse (Foster) who runs an underground hospital for Los Angeles’ most sinister criminals, and finds that one of her patients is actually there to assassinate another. [Source: The Live Feed]

Catcher Was A Spy
Paul Giamatti and Jeff Daniels are set to join Paul Rudd and Guy Pearce in the Ben Lewin-directed “Catcher Was A Spy” from a script by Robert Rodat. Filming is now underway in Prague ans Boston.

Rudd plays Moe Berg, a professional baseball player, Ivy League graduate, and attorney. However he’s best known for being a top-secret spy for the OSS who helped the U.S. win the race against Germany to build the atomic bomb. [Source: Deadline]

Elliot the Littlest Reindeer
“The Hunger Games” star Josh Hutcherson has been tapped to voice the lead role in the animated feature “Elliot the Littlest Reindeer” for Awesometown Entertainment.

Jennifer Westcott penned and directs the story of a miniature horse Elliot, who follows his dream to earn a spot on Santa’s sleigh team after Blitzen retires. Samantha Bee, John Cleese, Martin Short, Jeff Dunham also lend their voices to the project. [Source: Variety]

Kiersey Clemons (“Dope”) is set to star in “Sleight” director JD Dillard’s survival-horror thriller “Sweetheart” for Blumhouse. Dillard co-wrote the script with Alex Theurer and Alex Hyner and all will produce with Jason Blum and Bill Karesh. Plot specifics are under wraps. [Source: Variety]
